it's a family thing...
Springing forth from his great-great-grandfather, the 19th-century sculptor Charles Champagne, a design engineer father, and a watercolorist mother, Paul Shampine may have been genetically predisposed to blur the lines between two-dimensional and three-dimensional spaces.
Despite a brief foray into finance and publishing, Paul has followed his true passion of studying nature and fulfilling his drive to create.

Emphasizing biomimicry, he draws inspiration from natural designs and structures, turning them into one-of-a-kind avant-garde forms.
